Winning Percentage per Seat

Number of Players:
The results of this statistic really suprised me. I had always assumed that the closer you sit to first base the better your winning percentage would be because the true count you use to bet with best correlates with the cards you will receive. That assumption turned out to be completely false, no matter what the shoe penetration is. Also, I always assumed that the less players at the table the better your winning percentage would be. Again, that assumption turned out to be completely false, no matter how many players are at the table your winning percentage will be the same. The simulation set up included a $25 betting unit for each player, each player used the adjusted numbers chart, the shoe penetration was set to 75%, and the table played out 1 billion games. The results were verified for several different shoe penetration values.

However, it is still very important that you have the table to yourself, so that you can get in more hands in the same amount of time. This information is still useful, because now you know that you are not hurting yourself by playing multiple hands at a table.
