Adjusted Numbers Strategy Chart

As the shoe changes from being heavy with 10's to heavy with low cards, optimum plays on the basic strategy chart change as well. Since we know how the shoe is weighted based on the true count we can assign different ways to play depending on what the true count is. To derive the chart below we ran a simulation of 1 billion games for each row of the table with 1 player at a table playing heads up against the dealer. The deck penetration was set to 75% on a 6 deck shoe. The rules of the game were as follows: dealer stands on soft 17, double any two cards, double after split allowed, dealer checks for blackjack before any hands are played, and blackjack pays 3:2. The true count was updated for each card pulled from the shoe and then it was rounded to the nearest integer (e.g. 1.5 and 1.6 rounded to 2; 1.4 rounded to 1).
